If you take a strip of paper and
twist one end 180 degrees, then staple or tape the ends
together, you will have a moebius, one of the stranger and seemingly
impossible forms to contemplate. It has also been called the
infinity strip, because if you run your finger along what
seems like one side the surface, it will traverse all of the
surfaces, without having to switch sides, which makes it a one
dimensional form. This moebius is made of clay and glazes. |
