"Fly Over", explores, if ever so briefly,
a part of the relationship between life and death. We, the living,
fly over all creatures and things that came before. As far as
reincarnation is concerned, and given the thin layer of our planet
that supports all life, it seems obvious to me that we are
physically composed of atoms and molecules from many of the
creatures, earth, plants, rocks and even star material preceeding
us. Do these atoms and molecules carry any collective memories? Who
knows, but I can't completely dismiss the idea. This oldy
but goody was made in 1973 out of clay and airbrused
glazes. |
