This mural, titled, "Stratavariations", uses textured ceramic and stone mosaic to depict the strata of the earth, a fitting subject for the lobby of the Amoco Building. The very large piece totals 650 square feet, and incorporates a doorway to the praking area, on the right side. The earth tones of the artwork, and incorporation of the planters were designed to warm the space, which was the owners' desire when they commissioned the artist in 1994. |
