This fanciful brightly glazed mural was designed and produced for Girls Inc. to act as a fundraising artwork, with the donors names engraved on the kitetail bows. Girls, like all of us, like to fly free as individuals, but also want to belong to a group, and need to be anchored. The 11' X 26' piece was installed in the new West Colfax headquarters lobby in 2003. |
