This mural, "E Pluribus", was the
first community mural project organized by the artist. It was
completed by a group from the Cherry Creek community responding to
an invitation to design, produce and install a mural for the Steele
Park Building, in Cherry Creek. The participants worked each
Wednesday evening, over a 6 month period to create the two murals,
each 4' X 28', installed in 1976. After learning some basic ceramic
skills, the group arrived at an overall design by consensus, and
within that framework, each individual was free to express
themselves on their own tile. |
