These beautiful sandblasted stones created a lovely freeze around the lobby of the newly constructed Wheatridge Recreation Center, when they were installed in 2002. They were designed and produced by students at three Middle Schools in Wheatridge, working under the direction of the artist, and teacher Hal Kuzwara. Each student designed an image with their interpretation of "recreation", and prepared a special rubber stencil with those designs,  before we took a field trip to the sandblaster and completed the project.
