Barry Rose - Artist National Jewish Hospital

This upbeat mural was designed and produced by chronic respirartory patients at the National Jewish Hospital, in Denver, working with the artist in a long term workshop. The young patients made several artworks of their own before turning their attention to the community mural, which hangs permanently in the hospital courtyard. The title, "Air", is a topic of obvious special meaning to them. It was completed in honor of Norman Brownstein, in 1978.
